The photograph above is simply upside down and was designed to be viewed this way.

This image was designed (with Deedee's invaluable assistance) to link the adjoining images in the triptych. Imagine her seated on a stool, facing away from the camera, and doing a simple backbend (with weights on her feet to keep her from falling backwards.

The illusion that what you see is right-side up was created by inverting the normal lighting conditions--lighting the subject from underneath her arms and making the background from dark at her feet to lighter near her head.

So when you turn the image upside down--as you see here--it looks right side up.
